Wine Description
The Mark series is crafted solely from barrels dedicated to reserve rows within the vineyard. We select the boldest wines from the reserve barrels and carefully blend to create a full-bodied, aromatic wine with the ability to cellar. Named for our son Mark, the Roman numeral denotes this vintage’s place in the series.

Bright ruby-red. Powerful, floral-accented scents of black raspberry, incense, Asian spices and sexy oak spices. Sweet, palate-staining red and dark berry flavors show impressive depth but come off as lithe thanks to lively acidity. The spice and vanilla notes return on the juicy finish, which displays excellent smoky complexity and clings impressively. This is seductive now but I'd give it a little time to absorb its oak.
