L.I.V.E. Certification

We are excited to announce that Nicholas Vineyard has achieved Low Input Viticulture and Enology certification. L.I.V.E. is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization that provides education and certification for vineyards and wineries using international standards of sustainable viticultural and enological practices in both wine-grape and wine production. These practices are based on an independent 3rd-party-verified checklist system consisting of required and prohibited elements, as well as numerous ecological options. The L.I.V.E. application takes over 2 years to complete and accompanies the “Salmon Safe” certification we received in 2009. Further details can be found at www.liveinc.org
